Peninsula Garden Club May Workshops Registration!
All workshops have an
attendance limit, so be sure to register early.
1.) To register for workshops, click on the Registration
You will be taken to a registration website, where you
will enter your contact information and select which
workshops you want to attend.
Cost: The registration fee to attend each workshop is
$5.00, payable online at registration. THE $5
REGISTRATION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE. Some workshops have
additional supply fees, payable at the workshop site. Please
bring exact change. See each workshop description
for more information.
2.) If a workshop is full, you will be given the choice
to be placed on a wait list. If an opening comes up,
you will then receive an email notifying you that you
have 48 hours to respond (to register online and pay $5

4.) 5 days before the workshop, you will receive

space can be released to the next person on the workshop
waitlist, and they will be able to go have fun! The $5
registration fee is non-refundable; however, you may be
able to substitute another workshop, as available.

10-11AM - Growing Winter Squash in and outside of a High
Tunnel. Limit: 20
11:30AM-12:30PM - Growing Potatoes in Buckets or
Containers. Limit: 20
11AM-12:30PM - Create a Hanging Basket with Connie Royal
of Connie's Flowers. Limit: 10
1-3PM - Seed Starting and Transplanting. Limit: 8
3:30-4:30PM - Pruning Workshop. Limit: 12

10AM-12PM - Green House Management Before, During, and
Clean Up After Growing Season Has Ended. Limit: 12
11AM-12:30PM - Fun with Fish Bones: Why and how to use
Alaska Fish Bones as an Organic Amendment. Limit: 20
1-2:30PM - Organic Perennial Gardening on a Budget.
2-4PM - Green House Management Before, During, and Clean
Up After Growing Season Has Ended. Limit: 12

10-12PM - Pros and Cons of Growing in a High Tunnel. Limit: 20
12:30-2:30PM - Landscape Design. Limit: 15
3-4:30PM - Tree, Shrub and Lawn Maintenance. Limit 12
May 27th Workshops
9-10AM - Raising Chickens for Eggs and Meat. Limit: 20
10AM-12PM - Composting and Local Amendments Equals
Healthy Growing Soil. Limit 15
1:30-2:30PM -Make Herbal Balms and Salves. Limit: 6
3-4:30PM - Irrigation, Cold Frames and Mini Tunnels.
